For an initial discussion, describe your sector and working environment, how the task starts and what outcome completes it. How often does it recur? Where is the most time lost today? Which quality or capacity problem would you like to change?
If you have a robot, identify its model and configuration. If not, describe your access needs. Who knows the task and who owns the process? What connections do the existing software and facility require? This information helps assess scope. Personal data, confidential production details and customer information are unnecessary in an initial message; suitable arrangements for further sharing can be agreed separately.

Researchers: choose a shared question
For universities and research groups, a starting point might be learning from human demonstrations, adaptation across robots, contact information, recovery after errors or evaluation methods. These topics relate to GappAI Labs' public research directions. [3]
Share a method, a comparative experiment or an application question. Conditions for data, publication, intellectual property and infrastructure use should be agreed together. Contributing research or a view to the magazine does not, by itself, establish a commercial partnership or institutional endorsement.
What should the first discussion clarify?
An initial assessment should let both sides understand the next step. Is the task sufficiently clear? Can the necessary access be provided? What information is missing? Does the situation call for engineering, a research conversation or further preparation? Requests need not all follow the same route.
