From platform to operation
The CEO of Berlin-based Physical AI and robotics engineering company GappAI met with Yanlin Wang, AGIBOT’s Vice President, Sales — Europe, at IFA Berlin on 5 September 2026.
The discussion focused on technical and commercial possibilities for applying humanoid robot platforms in real working environments. Topics included task-specific programming, transferring skills learned from human expertise to robot platforms, systems integration and controlled field pilots.
Capture → Skills → Workforce
GappAI’s approach is built on its Capture → Skills → Workforce architecture. Capture structures human demonstrations and data from robot operations. Skills focuses on developing reusable robot skills from that data. Workforce encompasses deploying, monitoring and improving those skills in real operations.
GappAI evaluates humanoid applications primarily for manufacturing and assembly, industrial operations, logistics and infrastructure. The aim is to bring platform selection, skill development and field integration together around each customer’s operational requirements.
Potential cooperation
The discussion with AGIBOT also addressed robot supply, purchase and rental options, technical support and potential Robot-as-a-Service cooperation models. Their scope would depend on the platform’s technical capabilities, the customer application and commercial terms agreed between the parties.
The meeting formed part of direct discussions following GappAI’s applications to AGIBOT’s Channel Partner and Solution Partner programmes. GappAI aims to continue technical and commercial evaluations after IFA Berlin. Potential cooperation remains under evaluation.
